Learn with an Oxbridge expert

My name is Dr. Leonardo and I’m a Natural Sciences graduate from Cambridge with a PhD in Physics from ETH Zurich.
I am an Oxbridge expert with 3000+ hours of online tutoring with 100+ students. I can help you get in!
Choose the right University for you
Choosing the right university is stressful and it might feel like your whole future depends on it. Competing with other talented applicants is intimidating and it seems like universities are looking for ideal students with immaculate track records. However, universities want ambitious students eager to learn and this should be emphasized in your application. In my career, I have collaborated with many UK, EU and USA universities and I can guide you in finding the right university and university programme for you in all of STEM subjects.
make your personal statement stand out
I have read over 1000 personal statements while tutoring Oxbridge students and organizing the Summer School of Science. I can tell you that they all start with a variation of “Since my earliest childhood, I have been fascinated by science”. So what captured my attention the most? How did I select the best students for my summer school?
Firstly, it is a clear structure with each paragraph focusing on one topic. I read around 20 statements at a time, and by the end of it, I start losing focus. Help the interviewers by making your statement easy to read. A well-organized statement also tells me you are potentially a good science communicator; a skill the interviewers are looking for.
Secondly, it is relevant achievements popping up: national and international competitions, extracurricular research projects etc. Make sure these really add to your story. It is easy to distinguish between students who add relevant achievements to convince me of their skills from students who are aimlessly listing all their achievements. You need to understand what I look for and write purposefully.

Thirdly, it is authenticity and novelty. Show passion, dare to be different, be memorable. In order to do that, you need to know yourself. There is also a thin line between being different and sounding “off”. I will make sure you find the right balance between the two and write an authentic personal statement that will impress the interviewer.
Nail the admissions exams
Check out my detailed guides for Oxbridge PAT and Cambridge NSAA papers. These papers test slightly different skills, but what is common to both of them is that they test your problem-solving skills under time pressure. I will help you devise an exam strategy for the admission tests and make sure you’re on top of the syllabus.
Excel in your interview
Cambridge and Oxford want passionate students who have strong critical-thinking skills and can easily adapt to new situations. In interviews, the goal is to push you beyond the boundaries of your knowledge and test how quickly you come up with new ideas. The interviewers want to know if you can use the whole potential of what studying at Oxbridge offers. I can help you get used to an interview setting by having mock interviews with you. This way you will develop good communication and problem-solving skills essential to excel in your interview.
